The 2nd International Workshop on Energy and Water Cycle over the Tibetan Plateau and High-elevations is held in Lhasa, China, 19-21 July 2010. This workshop is a joint activity of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and CEOP (Coordinated Energy and water-cycle Observations Project) and is coordinated with “The Forth International Workshop on Catchment-scale Hydrological Modeling and Data Assimilation (CAHMDA-IV)”, which is held in Lhasa, China, 21-23 July 2010.
This workshop is convened by:
- The Coordinated Energy and water-cycle Observations Project - Water and Energy Budget Study (CEOP-WEBS) Working Group and High Elevations (CEOP-HE) Working Group;
- The EU Seventh Research Framework Programme (FP7) CEOP–AEGIS project;
- The Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ITP, CAS);
- The Cold and Arid Regions Environmental and Engineering Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAREERI, CAS);
- The National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
